What does Tooxi cost me?
Your first month is free from activation. After that, membership is £25 per month and you can cancel anytime. Tooxi also adds a 2.5% service charge on each completed card payment; Stripe’s payment-processing fee is separate.
When do membership and approval begin?
Your profile goes live after the required identity, driver, vehicle and local checks are approved. Your first month starts at activation; membership is then £25 per month.
Can I choose my prices and when I work?
Yes. Where local fare rules permit, you publish your rate and relevant terms. You choose when to go live and whether to accept each eligible request.
What does Stripe charge me for?
Stripe Connect processes the rider’s card payment and transfers eligible earnings to your connected account. Stripe charges its payment-processing fee separately from Tooxi’s 2.5% service charge.
What does “marketplace” mean?
Riders compare visible, licence-checked driver profiles, vehicles, published prices and reviews, then send a request to a named driver. You personally accept or decline it.
Can I see and rate riders?
Yes. You can see a rider’s rating while assessing a request and rate them after a completed journey.
How do referral rewards work?
Your referral code is issued after your first completed Tooxi hire. Five referred drivers who complete their first hire earn you one additional free month; ten earn two additional free months.
How are airport charges handled?
Airport pickup and drop-off charges use the airport’s current published tariff. Tooxi shows the amount and any free alternative before consent, and stores the airport ID rather than a translated label.
